Based on the book Cassandra, by Christa Wolf, and A Bruxa e o Caliban, by Silvia Federici, Teresa Coutinho writes and creates O Fim foi Visto, a piece that seeks the answer to preventing the catastrophe in feminine intuition. Like Christa Wolf, who believes that it is up to women to write to restore peace, as an alternative to the male war impulse that shaped the History of Humanity, this work examines the stigmatization of female intuition throughout time and rewrites the history of Cassandra, of many Cassandras: those who foresaw the end but found themselves cloistered or silenced and, therefore, it was not up to them to change the course of History. With a large cast, alluding to the chorus of tragedy, these Cassandras star in episodes belonging to our collective memory in which their intuition and voice would have made a difference.
