In Fumbling, Stina Nyberg seeks to explore the experiences that arise when reality becomes blurred. In situations where our perception loses its grip on clarity — where we stumble forward together — she is looking for an opportunity to suggest a form of togetherness beyond the fantasy of clear answers.

The choreography departs from the physically demanding work of handling another person’s body: carrying, dragging, lifting, balancing, moving, and molding. The practice thus explores relationships between bodies, but also brushes against more supernatural phenomena such as ghosts, hallucinations, and daydreams. The project aims to explore how tangible bodies can merge with the ephemeral, exploring the borderland between what is perceived as real, unreal, and imagined.
