cão de sete patas is one of the winning projects of O Espaço do Tempo's Creation Grants, with the support of BPI and Fundação "la Caixa".

cão de sete patas (seven-legged dog) stems from the dream of an iconic character in Brazilian marginal cinema. Sônia Silk — played by Helena Ignez — in the film Copacabana Mon Amour (1971) by Rogério Sganzerla, dreams of seven-legged dogs, man-animals, and other monsters. cão de sete patas is an interdisciplinary work that explores the relationship between fiction and documentary, between dream and memory, and between an actress and her character.
