Artistic residency integrated in the YEP - Young Emerging Performers program, in partnership with Rua das Gaivotas6.

It's targeted, precise, and doesn't risk innocents. We begin from a personal sense of powerlessness. We have come to understand that capitalism, as a structural mechanism of violence and sacrifice, is resistant to critique and, in fact, feeds on it. Critical thought, as a response, no longer works: it accumulates without producing change. From this accumulation emerges a search for inversion, restitution, and symbolic action capable of interrupting the cycle of violence and reversing capitalism’s sacrificial logic. Auto do CEO presents itself as an allegory that seeks to restore an ancestral logic of exchange: one CEO for a post-capitalist future. And perhaps it is only in the attempt that we may find an answer.
