O Estado do Tempo is an initiative organized by O Espaço do Tempo that began in 2024 and comprises a series of talks and the publishing of a collection of zines on various topics of our time. In each talk, there will be a general theme that will be discussed by the people invited, as well as the participation of the present audience. Each of these talks, which will happen in different locations in Montemor-o-Novo, will result in a publication that will bring together photographic records, transcriptions, texts, and original graphic creations.
The next talk of O Estado do Tempo will be on September 12, around 4pm, at Cineteatro Curvo Semedo, where we will discuss the theme O tempo perguntou ao tempo quanto tempo o tempo tem. O tempo respondeu ao tempo que o tempo tem tanto tempo quanto tempo o tempo tem. (Time asked time how much time time had. Time replied that time had as much time as time had).
The guests for this talk will be Inês Barbosa, Pedro Barreiro e Rodrigo Pedreira, who are also co-curators of the project.
