frente-a-frente is one of the winning projects of O Espaço do Tempo's Creation Grants, with the support of BPI and Fundação "la Caixa".

In Porto, a man known as Ramos Indiano has an impressive archive of Bollywood soundtracks, which he sings and plays using trancanholas—two wooden sticks. What drives his fascination with this distant culture, leading him to recreate these productions using his voice and simple instruments? Frente-a-frente embraces reclaiming global pop cultures, using drums, voice, and body to recycle and transform them into popular practice.
