E as Flores? is the third chapter of a trilogy dedicated to the theme of Nature, which began with As Árvores Não Têm Pernas para Andar (2020), aimed at pre-school audiences, and which has already surpassed two hundred performances and led to the publication of a book of the same name. This was followed by Pássaros e Cogumelos (2022), designed for primary school audiences, whose book was published in December 2024.

Given the transformative power of Art, and the understanding that childhood is the foundation for shaping how we perceive the world, this trilogy seeks to raise awareness among younger audiences about the importance of Nature and Art. It aims to encourage children and educators alike to develop a more empathetic and creative way of looking at their surroundings. With this third piece, the intention is to extend this work into the colourful and surprising world of flowers, which accompany us through different stages of life — from the most joyful to the most sorrowful — and which are, undoubtedly, an inexhaustible source of inspiration and wonder.
