Assault the Vaults is a multimedia performance that excavates the layers of time — from the origins of life on Earth to today's panoptic landscape of digital surveillance — exposing how power shapes memory and erases the histories of bodies, voices, and cooperation.
Blending history and myth, this assault on tombs and vaults seeks to reopen the fossilised archive inhabited by the first symbiotic bacteria, Neolithic societies without war, gods and borders, sirens that shipwreck colonialism, and mourners who ritualise grief. The performance questions what we have inherited and what has been imposed upon us, reclaiming for the present a history of life and solidarity rather than a history of power.
This performance marks the premiere of Puçanga's new album, combining visual imagery, electronic music, singing, euphonium, and spoken word. It is a political and spiritual hack for bodies numbed by extractivism and contemporary violence.
