Sara Inês Gigante is a creator and actress from Minho. She was born in 1994 in Viana do Castelo. She trained at ACE in Porto, in the acting programme, and later earned a degree from ESTC in Lisbon, in the actors’ course. She has worked with Jorge Silva Melo / Artistas Unidos, Alex Cassal, Gustavo Ciríaco, Pedro Gil, Catarina Requeijo, Tiago Guedes, Raquel Castro, Bruno Bravo, among others. In 2021, she made her debut as a creator with the performance YOLO, presented as part of the Temps d'Image festival. In 2022, she presented a new creation, Massa Mãe, which she authored, created, and performed. In 2024, she won the 6th edition of the Amélia Rey Colaço Grant with the project POPULAR.
