Baile de Máscaras is a choreographic research project that addresses the relationship between multiplicity and singularity through the idea of the Mask, conceived more as corporeality than as an object. The initial impulse is to address the possible tensions between the conception of the personal — as unique and one's own — that underlies the structure of the self, and the impersonal invoked by a mask, which allows a body to incorporate qualities and characteristics that belong to other beings.
