Madraça appears in the heart of Alentejo. Exploring the Alentejo universe and Portuguese traditional music, intends, through original arrangements with a fusion of rhythms and sounds of exploratory world music and electronic music, promote and recreate the musical heritage of the Alentejo region. After an intensive collection and survey of sounds and instruments typical of the region, with the aim of preserving raw material for collective creation and incentive to creative work through the use of sample packs and original virtual instruments. The project results in the creation of a live performance unique, which merges the Universe of traditional Transtagana music with the sounds and of contemporary reality. The project has the collaboration of 7 musicians Portuguese, as well as a choral group from Cante Alentejano and a VJ.
