Resgate is a project launched in 2023. This training programme for the development of a choreographic vocabulary of Fado Batido aimed to train a group of female dancers who initiated the creation of a company of Fado Batido performers. The course was facilitated by Jonas&Lander and professionals associated with the dance forms of Fandango, Flamenco, and Kuduro. In the new 2026 edition, we intend to create an ecosystem of choreographic influences similar to those of the dances that originally shaped Fado Batido, and to develop new audiences and a new generation of trainees.

Jonas&Lander, a duo of portuguese choreographers, have been collaborating since 2011. Cascas d'OvO is the first work that took them to several national and international stages. They also created and presented Matilda Carlota, Arrastão, Adorabilis, Lento e Largo and Coin Operated. Jonas&Lander were distinguished as an "Aerowaves Priority Company" in 2014 and 2017. In 2021, they decided to rescue the lost dances of Portuguese music genre Fado with Bate Fado, named by Expresso and Público as best dance show of the year. By the end of 2022, they began creating Maçã de Adão.
