Helena Baronet (Castelo Branco, Portugal, 1996). Helena believes in the relationship between bodies and in the creation of places of freedom that promote the nature of multiple ways of being, ancestral, conscious and coherent. Her roots are Mozambican and Portuguese. Her work unfolds within the performing arts, theater, singing and executive production. She has a degree in Theater from the University of Évora, and as a complementary training she did workshops with Lígia Soares, Elizabete Francisca, David Marques, Tiago Vieira, Cristian Duarte, Sara Ribeiro, Miguel Moreira, Yael Rasoolv, among others. Her career in the performing arts was outlined with Terceira Pessoa – Associação Cultural (Castelo Branco); UMCOLETIVO – Associação Cultural (Elvas); Meninos da Graça – Plataforma de Criação Artística (Évora, Lisboa); Malvada Associação Artística (Évora); Teatro Ibérico (Lisboa). As executive producer and costumes and scenography assistant, she’s worked with Produção d’Fusão, producing artists such as André de Campos, Diana Niepce, Lewis Seivwright and Sinistra (Jonas & Lander).

In 2021, she debuts her first solo creation, RiZO-… — -.-. .-, included in the 2021 Young Emerging Performers Program, a co-production between Rua das Gaivotas 6/Teatro Praga and O Espaço do Tempo. In 2022, she performed for the Higienizart cycle, directed by Pedro Barreiro; as an actress, in the play “Além”, by Rita Costa, a production by Teatro Ibérico; and in “Apneia”, directed by Ana Luena and produced by Malvada – Associação Artística within the PLANTA Project.
