A limestone sphere weighing half a tonne, five auéééu actors, sculptor Fernando Roussado, quinces that come from Víctor Erice, blocks of time and other eye-catching stuff: this show ventures the encounter and interference between the space of sculpture and the body of theatre. The audience will know as much as those on stage. Or almost. Principles of rationality, certainty and achievement are challenged; control, hierarchy and hegemony are countered; the game is about turning our back on what was just created and go on searching, claiming the freedom of risk and of the abyss.

auéééu, a company founded in 2014 by 9 actors, was born from the desire to think about creation as a collective, on an horizontal power relationship in which diversity and chaos are valued in their artistic construction processes. Allying a political thought, their shows opt for the creation of a dramaturgy and writing for the scene of their own authorship.
With a multidisciplinary aesthetic language, whose experimentation is based on literary, philosophical, cinematographic and performative research, the company seeks to design meeting territories through what one can name as “sensitive body“ – a body that feels and thinks while writing. Aware of this scenic game, they use reality within fiction and fiction within reality.
auéééu have presented their creations in various venues across the country, notably F – TNDMII and SãoLuizTM, O Desprezo – CCB, A Nossa Cidade, by Thornton Wilder, collective creation auéééu, Os Possessos and Teatro da Cidade -TBA and T. Viriato, Falta Tinta Vermelha – CCB, Tradição – TNDMII.
