After working together on a fine arts informed approach for the stage for several years, Maxi Menja Lehmann, Anna Froelicher and Anta Helena Recke are researching ways to connect their practice of creating associative, surprising but precise tableaux vivants to the closed form of opera, more specifically to New Music. They are going to explore a deep listening practice and research ways to extend this practice to a future audience during their residency in Montemor-o-Novo.

This artistic residency was a project supported by FELD/LAB, an initiative supported by the Goethe-Institut in Portugal.
