O Estado do Tempo is an initiative organized by O Espaço do Tempo that began in 2024 and comprises a series of talks and the publishing of a collection of zines on various topics of our time. In each talk, there will be a general theme that will be discussed by the people invited, as well as the participation of the present audience. Each of these talks, which will happen in different locations in Montemor-o-Novo, will result in a publication that will bring together photographic records, transcriptions, texts, and original graphic creations.

The next talk of O Estado do Tempo will be on June 6, around 4pm, at the Public Garden in Montemor-o-Novo, where we will discuss the theme Culturas Periféricas e Descentralização (Peripheral Cultures and Decentralisation).

The guests are the following:

  • • Alexandra Libânio (Cultural Manager and Mediator);
  • • Álvaro Domingues (Geographer and Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto);
  • • Jakilson Pereira (Educator and community leader at Moinho da Juventude).
