Seeking to maintain the uniqueness of the already traditional New Year’s Concerts, Banda da Carlista returns to Cineteatro Curvo Semedo in partnership with O Espaço do Tempo. The charisma of some of the most unforgettable characters from the operatic repertoire emerges in the voices of three solo singers from the National Theatre of São Carlos Choir: Ana Sêrro, soprano; Natália Carvalho de Brito, mezzo-soprano; and João Rodrigues, tenor. They join Banda da Carlista, under the direction of Maestro João Afonso Cerqueira, for an afternoon filled with famous arias, duets, and trios.
