Bright Horses is a dance piece for six performers — three sets of twin siblings — that uses internal and family dynamics to critically reflect on competition in today’s capitalist society. Drawing from the real-life experiences of its cast, the piece unfolds through three choreographic dialogues between siblings, revealing the complexity of family relationships as they navigate territories of dispute, aggression, mourning, farewell, and affection, and framing them as a microcosm of broader social structures.
