cão de sete patas (seven-legged dog) stems from the dream of an iconic character in Brazilian marginal cinema. Sônia Silk — played by Helena Ignez — in the film Copacabana Mon Amour (1971) by Rogério Sganzerla, dreams of seven-legged dogs, man-animals, and other monsters. cão de sete patas is an interdisciplinary work that explores the relationship between fiction and documentary, between dream and memory, and between an actress and her character.

Bibi Dória (Campo Grande, BR) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Lisbon (PT). She holds a degree in Dance from UNICAMP (BR) and a fellowship at Sadler’s Wells/Rose Choreographic School (UK, 2024-6). Her work takes place in the intersection of dance, performance, and cinema. Developing her own projects and collaborates as a performer, assistant, and dramaturge with various artists, including Bruno Brandolino (UY), with whom she co-created and performed the piece LA BURLA (2022).
