In honor of the pionerring role of actresss and director Amélia Rey Colaço in the history of Portuguese Theater, in the year in which the 120th anniversary of her birth was celebrated (2018, O Espaço do Tempo, Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, A Oficina and Teatro Viriato got together to award the Amélia Rey Colaço Grants. ⎯ This is a creative grant seeking to support the production of pieces by young artists and emerging artistic structures.
