Alexandra Libânio has a degree in Tourism Management and Planning, specializing in Cultural Tourism, from the University of Aveiro. She later pursued a Master’s in Cultural Management, with a focus on artistic production, at the University of Barcelona. Over time, she further enhanced her education in areas such as international cooperation and development, culture and sustainability, proximity cultural policy, civic design, and community culture.
For the past 20 years, she has dedicated herself to providing services in project management, coordination, and marketing across events, venues, mediation programs, and artistic creations. Notable projects include: Teatro Aveirense, Artemrede, Sons em Trânsito – World Music Festival, Alkantara Festival, Direção-Geral das Artes, OFFF digital arts festival, SONAR electronic music festival, Cairo Contemporary Dance Center, and Guerrilla Translation.
Since September 2019, Alexandra has been living in Montemor-o-Novo. After a maternity leave, she returned to freelancing in cultural project management and mediation. She has been collaborating occasionally with O Espaço do Tempo since 2020. In 2021, she became a member of the board of Estação Cooperativa, where she is responsible for executive project coordination. In that same year, she took on the roles of production and communications director for Alma d’Arame’s Encontro Internacional de Marionetas de Montemor-o-Novo.
In 2022, she worked with the Cooperativa Integral Minga on craft curation and the development of new products, as well as with Oficinas do Convento, coordinating the production of its activities.
