Catarina Constantino, originally from Lavre (Montemor-o-Novo), has always been interested in the world of the arts, which led her to pursue Visual Arts from 10th to 12th grade. During this time, she tried acting for the first time and became captivated by this art form. At 20, she decided to enroll in the Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Caldas da Rainha to study theater. There, she participated in and adapted various plays, including Terrorism by the Presnyakov brothers and The Hotel by Gonçalo M. Tavares. She also took part in the Ofélia festival and created the podcast Off-élia. In her third year of her degree, Catarina presented the play Mapas que não servem at the Teatro da Rainha and the Fábrica das Ideias theater, directed by Joana Craveiro.
In 2023, she had an internship with Sara Vaz in Baixo Alentejo (Sabóia), which deepened her affection for the Alentejo region, eventually leading her to create the podcast Entre Palavras Alentejanas. Catarina also taught theater to children between the ages of 5 and 11, an experience that taught her much about herself and how to educate without limiting.
