O Estado do Tempo is an initiative organized by O Espaço do Tempo that began in 2024 and comprises a series of talks and the publishing of a collection of zines on various topics of our time. 

As color slips into darkness, we revive the archaic and press it up against the contemporary. We construct a gathering which will house an ecstatic world, one which looks sideways through time: simultaneously into the past and future. 

Assault the Vaults excavates the layers of time: from the origins of life on Earth to the present-day panoptic era of digital surveillance. The powers that be shape memory and erase the histories of bodies, voices, and cooperation.

Anne-Mareike Hess’s new solo in the air asks how a body can remain responsive in a world that both overwhelms and numbs sensation. Set within a carefully constructed artificial landscape, a solitary figure oscillates between the figures of Narcissus, encountering only herself, and Echo, endlessly seeking relation.
