Between memory and fiction, imaginative speculation and sensory sharing, Névoa-Nada places at its heart the power of storytelling and poetic discourse in the construction of the human narrative. How far do we go in the material world we have built? Of all that surrounds us, what tells our story? What words shape us and protect us from the oblivion to which we are all destined?

KITADA is Marga Alfeirão's new choreographic work. Continuing her exploration of female desire and eroticism as sources of memory, the piece takes as its point of departure the massive deforestation of the fifteenth century to build the colonial fleets — the first large-scale package of environmental and industrial policies to systematically target women's knowledge, directly threatening their relationship with, and dependence on, dreams, plants, and landscapes.
