Project description: Ina Christel Johannessen is one of Norway’s most renowned dance artists – a pioneer. With her company zero visibility corp. she thrills audiences worldwide. She is a choreographer who is as capable of charming audiences with her art as she is at making them squirm uncomfortably in their seats. Her choreographies, one hundred per cent physical and full of both energy and poetry, explore opposites that are constantly changing.

Project description continued …
"Future" will be developed during a 10-week production period, divided between residencies abroad and studio and stage work in Oslo, Norway.

The dramaturgical starting point and area of research is the child, the future.

Some years ago zero visibility corp. had a longer residency in Paris, where the studio was a dining room in an abandoned Orphanage. This room has been ingrained in Ina's memory; its colours, windows, tiles, radiators. She has the desire to recreate this space exactly
and fill it with all the thoughts, aspirations and wishes of the abandoned children. Where did they go?

Music: Composer Bram Bosteel from Kaboom Karavan is a sound wizard.
Using a mixture of self-made instruments, old acoustic
string instruments and electronics he creates a universe reminding of nocturnal carnival, and strange vaudeville from an imaginary land. Bram Bosteel is composing original music for "FUTURE".
