Olga Mesa has acquired international recognition for her solos, for an original work with the camera brought on stage as well as for video-art films. Throughout her career, she has developed a special relationship with Portugal, as her works have been presented on a regular basis by numerous institutions and festivals (Montemor-O-‑Velho, Covilhã/Fundão, Lisboa).
