o espaço do tempo

In the beginning Antidança was a dance I was doing in my room, a break for my writing work, with me dancing with an absent body.
Then it became a duet with the spanish dance Patricia caballer, with her (24), being my teacher (40).
With the sudden ending of my collaboration with Patricia, I decided to pick the idea where It started. Since then, i developed this idea of "solos together with": while working on my solo, i want to be together with somebody else working on his-her solo, so I invited a group of young artists to be with me for a week, during my 5 week staying here in O Espaço do Tempo.
In each of this future "solos together with" i want to explore a shadow, an absence vs presence,a ghost, an imaginary friendly if You will. We always neeed somebody to cope with our solitude, even if that somebody remains untouched by the others.
With this work I will try to give a body to something that doesn't have a body: someone in us, part of us, that is not "me" neither "other".
