The Dance Season in Évora enters its 5th edition, with an exciting and interesting program. By adding “New performative languages”, to the program designation, we aim to rightly name what has been the artistic direction throughout the four previous years, a program that includes not only dance, but also new-circus, performance and innovative theatre languages.
Contemporary dance has placed itself on a performing arts trans-disciplinary crossing, a negotiating ground from where new artists spring. Maintaining our goal of building audiences in Évora, and bearing in close mind the consolidation of the work that it has been developed
before, we search for innovating and exciting proposals. The Dance and New Performative Languages Season is an initiative of the Évora City Hall, with the artistic direction of O Espaço do Tempo and the fundamental collaboration of Cendrev – Centro Dramático de Évora.
