Bomba Suicida
Bomba Suicida is an association of culture promotion created by artists that come from the contemporary performative arts field. Born in 1997 this collective has divided their work between the production of their own artistic creations and the promotion of other outsider contemporary artists from the many different art fields, through a regular programming at their Studio/Black Box in Bairro Alto, Lisboa, Portugal. Nowadays, Bomba Suicida is composed by Filipe Viegas, Luís Guerra, Tânia Carvalho, Marlene Freitas, Sofia Matos and Ana Rita Osório. These artists keep their singular and distinctive artistic and personal personality although they all share the same collective spirit. Through the eleven years of life of Bomba Suicida, many other people made part of this association. The artistic works of Bomba Suicida’s artists were already presented in Portugal, England, France, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, Belgium, Lebanon, Croatia, Cyprus, Holland, between others. Bomba Suicida as an association is member of DBM Mediterranean Dance Network and of REDE, a Portuguese network of contemporary dance structures.
